Yacht Charter Panama and San Blas
Panama gives you two oceans and almost no charter traffic. On the Caribbean side lies San Blas: around 365 islands under Guna Yala administration, most of them uninhabited, all of them within a few hours of each other. On the Pacific side sit the Pearl Islands and, further out, the route toward the Galapagos. We charter on both coasts, but the great majority of our guests sail San Blas, because nowhere else in the Caribbean can you anchor for a week and see so few other boats.
Our fleet is small and we own it. The Sunreef 62 Marea is the luxury option, 8 guests, 4 cabins, air conditioning throughout. The Leopard 42 Tsabalok takes families and groups of friends. Guji, a Sun Odyssey 44i, is the sailing yacht couples pick when they want a quiet, classic monohull. Every charter is crewed, and every charter is private: your group has the boat to itself. We do not sell cabins on shared trips.
A charter usually begins in Panama City. From there you either fly 35 minutes to an airstrip in the archipelago or drive 2.5 hours to Carti and take the launch out to the yacht. Both work; the flight saves half a day and a rough road. Once aboard you are in the islands until the return transfer, with the crew handling navigation, cooking, dinghy runs and the paperwork with the Guna authorities.
Charter rates depend on the yacht and the season. The sailing yacht starts lower, the catamarans higher, and rates include the crew, all meals on board, fuel for normal cruising, snorkelling equipment and paddleboards. Not included: community and anchoring fees in Guna Yala, alcohol, private flights or road transfers, and any special provisioning you request. All rates are quoted in USD.
Because we operate the yachts ourselves, there is no intermediary between your questions and the answers. If you ask whether the boat can be at Chichime on a Tuesday, the captain answers.
